Skyhawk Men Ranked 14th In The NCAA South Region

NEW ORLEANS, La.- After the University of Tennessee at Martin men's cross country team placed three student-athletes in the top-100 (field of 253) of the Gans Creek Classic, the Skyhawks garnered the number-14 spot in the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association NCAA South Region polls.

UT Martin is the lone Ohio Valley Conference team in the South Region rankings. The Skyhawks join Alabama, Ole Miss, Lipscomb, Georgia, Tennessee, Auburn, Middle Tennessee, Florida, North Florida, Georgia Tech, Florida State, Miami (Fla.), Vanderbilt and Jacksonville State.

UT Martin will wrap up the regular season on Fri, Oct. 17 at the Angel Mounds Invitational in Evansville, Ind.
