Nomination Form
• Started: 1983
• Inaugural Class: Floyd Burdette, Robert Carroll, Bobby Fowler, H. Kirk Grantham, Leonard Hamilton, Julian Nunamaker, Pat Head Summitt and J. Frank Taylor.
• Purpose: To identify and honor in a permanent manner those individuals who have achieved excellence in athletics at The University of Tennessee at Martin and those others who have contributed greatly to the advancement of athletics at the university.
• Qualifications: An athlete must have earned at least two letters in one sport or one letter in two sports at UT Martin. A coach or athletic administrator must have attained excellence deserving induction while a member of the staff at UT Martin. While an athlete need not have graduated from UT Martin to qualify for induction, there is a waiting period of five years following an athlete’s final season of competition before he/she can be considered for induction.
