FOOTBALL TEAM TO WATCH FCS SELECTION SHOW TODAY

MARTIN, Tenn. – The Football Championship Subdivision Selection Show will air on ESPNU at 12:30 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 18, and the Skyhawk football team will meet in the Bob Carroll Football Building Multi-Purpose Room to watch the selection show. The public is invited to join the team to watch the show.
The 20 team bracket (10 automatic berths and 10 at-large bids) for the playoffs will be revealed. With Saturday’s 35-26 victory over No. 23 Tennessee State, there is a possibility for the Skyhawks to get an at large bid into the playoffs.
Eastern Illinois won the Ohio Valley Conference’s automatic berth with a 6-1 league mark. Eastern Kentucky finished second in the OVC with a 6-2 record, while UT Martin finished third with a 6-2 slate. Because EKU defeated UT Martin, the Colonels claimed the runner-up position.
Eastern Illinois finished with a 7-4 overall record, while Eastern Kentucky and UT Martin finished with 8-3 overall worksheets.
