2016 UT Martin Prospect Camp
UT Martin Prospect Camps are phenomenal opportunities for a player to promote himself, individually, by demonstrating his baseball talents for several colleges & universities at one location. Players are instructed in their primary position and then given the opportunity to demonstrate skills in game play. All players play in one game. All events take place at one stadium so that all coaches see all players. This camp is specifically for 2017-2020 high school graduating players. Both parents and players are highly encouraged to attend the “Reality Recruiting Forum” on Saturday evening. This time includes an Question & Answer session. We deliver a camp that is organized and effective for the player and parent.

PROSPECT CAMP SCHEDULE
Saturday 10-5: The players will be coached and then perform skills in a professional style workout. The camp will provide instruction in areas of baseball mechanics and game situations. Coaches from various levels of college play will be coaching and observing players.
Saturday Evening: Recruiting forum for parents and players. A panel of coaches will be answering your recruiting questions and providing insight on the recruiting process.
Sunday: Game times will be posted on Saturday. All players will play in one game. This gives coaches an opportunity to further observe each player in live, playing situations. Games provide coaches in attendance the opportunity to compare players to players on their level team.

Weekend Schedule: All players will receive a detailed schedule at check in. If necessary, small changes from your confirmation letter schedule will be made.
Check In is on Saturday morning at 10am. Nobody can check in early. Players should be fully dressed when they report for check in, except cleats, and ready to report directly to the filed. Parents should come to check in with their player and stay for opening
welcome and instructions (if you are traveling with your player). Parents are NOT required to attend with their player, but it is to their advantage to do so.
What if my player is Pitch Only? Players who are Pitch Only can throw in the bull pen on Saturday if desired. However, the pitching slots for games have been reserved specifically for the pitch only players. There is also pitching instruction all day Saturday.
What is the registration deadline? Registration closes on the Friday prior to camp at 5pm. There is an early registration discount of $25 prior to July 10. The early registration discount ends at midnight on July 9.
How do I know if my registration form was received at the UTM camp office? Online registration players will receive an immediate confirmation email. This email is VERY Important. If you do not see it in your email inbox, please check your junk mail. It will contain links to forms that need to be completed prior to camp.
What equipment should I bring? UTM will provide bats for the camp, but if you prefer to bring your own, please do. It is a metal bat event. Players should wear uniform pants, t-shirt, cleats. Please bring indoor shoes if the weather forces the camp to move inside. Catchers bring catchers equipment.
A jersey will be provided upon check in that should be worn for both days of the prospect camp.
Are meals & hotel included? No, meals and hotel are not included. There is a suggested list of hotels provided on your confirmation letter you will receive once you complete the online registration process.
Lunch: There is a lunch rotation of 1 hour when players may go off campus for lunch or you can bring a cooler and eat at Skyhawk park.
Available Discounts: Early Registration Discount: Save $25 if register before July 10.
Brother’s Discount: There is a discount of $100 for the second brother when registering two siblings. Must register at the same time, online, to receive this discount.
Team Discount is available for teams of 10+. Email to receive instructions on how to register a team.
Teams DO NOT register online. If you are coming as a team, and plan to use the team discount, advise your team to not register online as individual players.

Medical Release Form: ALL PLAYERS MUST TURN IN THEIR MEDICAL RELEASE FORM PRIOR TO CAMP
Inclement Weather: In the case of mild-moderate weather conditions the prospect camp will proceed with small adjustments to the schedule as necessary. In the case of severe weather conditions an alternate date will be scheduled and all prospect camp registrants will be notified at the parental email on their registration.
Cancellation / Refund Policy: Cancellation refunds, for all reasons, are in the amount of $149. No refund is issued for cancellations
