Skyhawk football and basketball can be heard on the University of Tennessee at Martin Skyhawk Radio Network.
Tom Britt enters his 28th year as play-by-play man for football broadcasts and is regarded as one of the state's top broadcasters. Britt, a veteran of radio news and sports, moved to WBBJ-TV in 1992 and now serves as anchor for the 6 p.m. news.
Chris Brinkley, a longtime local radio air personality, begins his eighth year as coordinator of the Skyhawk Radio Network. A graduate of UT Martin, he began his career at WCMT Radio in his high school days and is part of WCMT's "Good Times in the Morning" along with general manager Paul Tinkle.
Skyhawk Talk Radio Show
Each Monday evening during the course of the 2008-09 football and basketball seasons, the "Skyhawk Talk" radio show can be heard on the Skyhawk Radio Network (SRN). Originating from Snappy Tomato Pizza in Martin, SRN coordinator Chris Brinkley will host the hour-long program from 6-7 p.m. The show will feature interviews with coaches, players and updates on all Skyhawk Sports. WCMT is the flagship station for the Skyhawk Radio Network.
