MARTIN, Tenn. – University of Tennessee at Martin head cheer coaches James Woody and Jessi Woody have revealed the roster for the small coed cheerleading squad for the upcoming 2017-18 academic year.

The roster was formed after tryouts last month on campus. Once again this season, the Skyhawk cheerleaders will perform at all home football and basketball games while traveling to select away football games and all basketball tournament games.

The 21-member small coed team includes Michael Arguello, Jaya Baine, Jenna Baine, Jerobeon Cole, Leea Fenton, Gracie Fusting, Myesha Goodwin, CJ Greer, Kaitlynn Guard, Mallory Jennings, Ally Lee, Laura Kate Patterson, Hannah Powell, Allie Reda, Timberly Rutherford, Alyssa Salazar, Kaylee Schmittou, Liddie Sutton, Katelyn Taylor, Abbey Williams and Emylee Williams.

“We are looking forward to the season with these talented student-athletes,” Jessi Woody said. “This year, we will not only be cheering on our fellow Skyhawks but taking cheer to the next level here at UT Martin, as we will be competing nationally at Disney World in January in the UCA College Nationals.”

The 2017-18 UT Martin cheer squad will make its season debut when the Skyhawk football team plays host to Clarion on Thursday, Aug. 31 at 6 p.m.
