MARTIN, Tenn. – University of Tennessee at Martin golf fans can track the team’s progress at the upcoming Little Rock First Tee College Classic, as GolfStat will provide live scoring throughout the tournament.
The Little Rock First Tee College Classic will take place on Monday, March 27 and Tuesday, March 28 at the Chenal Country Club. Live hole-by-hole scoring is available at the link above.
UT Martin is one of 13 teams in the field, joining Abilene Christian, Central Arkansas, Eastern Michigan, Lamar, host Little Rock, Louisiana-Monroe, Louisiana Tech, Omaha, Oral Roberts, Rice, Stephen F. Austin and UT Arlington.
The par-72 course at Chenal Country Club plays at 7,226 yards. The first two rounds will be played on Monday, followed by the final round on Tuesday. An 8 a.m. shotgun start is scheduled for each day.
Last season, Hunter Richardson won the tournament in a tiebreaker playoff, carding a 215 (-1) for the tournament. As a team, UT Martin finished second out of 15 teams with an 898 (+34) in the 54-hole event.
The Skyhawks are coming off their third victory in their last five tournaments, as UT Martin claimed first-place honors at the Grover Page Classic on March 13-14. The Skyhawks currently rank second in the Ohio Valley Conference in scoring average (289.8) while Richardson (71.1) and Austin Swafford (72.5) rank first and sixth, respectively, in the league in scoring average.
