MARTIN, Tenn. – The University of Tennessee at Martin soccer program will host their Women’s Soccer Prospect ID Camp on Saturday, March 18. Check-in will be at 8:30 a.m. followed by the beginning of camp which is scheduled to start at 9 a.m. All activities will be held at Skyhawk Field located on the campus of UT Martin.
The camp will be for ambitious and competitive high school-aged players that desire to play Division I soccer. Head coach Phil McNamara and assistant coaches Leslie Gillies and Mary Mancin will serve as camp directors. This camp will give the players the best opportunity to be challenged both technically and tactically in an environment that is both encouraging and informative. The camp includes functional training sessions, small-sided/full-sided matches, lunch, dinner, and a camp shirt. All sessions will include individual coaching from the UT Martin coaching staff.
“Our staff is looking forward to working with quality young players who are looking to gain a scholarship at the collegiate level,” McNamara said. “The ID Camp offers direct contact on the field with our entire staff. It is a great opportunity to learn, work hard and enjoy a taste of college soccer.”
The cost of the camp is $125 per player. The fee will also include a panel discussion with current UT Martin players to answer questions on the college process and a day in the life of a Division I student-athlete. The cut-off date for registration will be March 10, pending availability.
