MARTIN, Tenn. - Winners of three of its last four outings, The University of Tennessee at Martin men’s basketball team will look to stay hot when it hosts Ohio Valley Conference West rival Southeast Missouri at the Kathleen and Tom Elam Center on Saturday, Feb. 16. Tip-off time is scheduled for 6 p.m.

The Skyhawks (7-17, 4-8 OVC) are coming off a commanding 77-68 home victory over SIU Edwardsville last Saturday. In that game, UT Martin led for the final 28-plus minutes and shot 57.8 percent for the contest.

These two teams played back on Dec. 29 in the OVC opener for both squads. The Skyhawks led by as many as 15 in the first half before Southeast Missouri picked up a 65-60 win in Cape Girardeau. UT Martin was led by Jeremy Washington, who compiled his first career double-double (14 points, 10 rebounds).

Southeast Missouri (13-13, 5-7 OVC) has won back-to-back games, including a 77-64 home win over Eastern Illinois last Saturday. The Redhawks jumped out to a 25-point halftime lead and never looked back thanks to Marland Smith, who scored 29 points (including nine 3-pointers). Corey Wilford (14 points), AJ Jones (11 points, 10 rebounds) and Tyler Stone (13 points) also reached double-figures in the win.
