“Saturday was a little under what our normal performance is,” said head coach MJ Vowell. “But the performance by both the women’s and mixed teams were superb and that shows in their aggregate scores, both having the best of the year. There were some hiccups along the way but the team just hung in there and made the necessary corrections and capitalized on them. I couldn’t be more proud with how they performed over the weekend given how the team handled things and with all of the personal and team highs achieved.”
The Skyhawks look to keep the momentum rolling as they prepare for the Ohio Valley Conference Championships set for Feb. 3-4 held at Murray, Ky.
