NINE SKYHAWKS EARN NCEA ACADEMIC ALL-AMERICAN AND ACADEMIC HONOR ROLL AWARDS

MARTIN, Tenn. – A total of nine University of Tennessee at Martin student-athletes have been named Academic All-Americans or Academic Honor Roll recipients by the National Collegiate Equestrian Association.
Rachel Crinklaw, Claire Ottinger and Reiley Wilson each earned Beval Saddlery Academic first team accolades. To qualify for first team status, a student-athlete must have competed in a minimum of 70 percent of their school’s meets, not including demo or exhibition rides. They must have also earned a cumulative Grade Point Average of 3.5 while maintaining full-time enrollment in the previous spring and fall semesters, respectively.
Beval Saddlery Academic second team honorees included Laney Hixson, Kenzie Perry and Nora Wilson. That trio competed in at least 60 percent of UT Martin’s meets and earned a cumulative GPA of 3.25 with full-time enrollment in the previous two semesters.
Cora Rogalski and Brittany Woodard picked up Beval Saddlery honorable mention academic awards. The Skyhawk duo competed in a minimum of 50 percent of UT Martin’s meets, earned a 3.0 cumulative GPA while maintaining full-time enrollment over the past full academic year.
The above eight, in addition to Elise Beauchamp, also took home La Hacienda Academic Honor Roll accolades. That award went to the top academic student athletes who have earned a cumulative GPA of 3.25 while maintaining full-time status in the previous spring and fall semesters, respectively.
