SKYHAWK ATHLETICS LAUNCHES A PAIR OF NEW SEASON TICKET CAMPAIGNS
August 11, 2014
MARTIN, Tenn. – The University of Tennessee at Martin athletics department has announced two new season ticket initiatives for the 2014-15 football and basketball campaigns.
The first initiative calls for 300 new football season tickets to be sold in 30 days. The “300 in 30” campaign begins today (Aug. 11) and will lead up to the date of UT Martin’s first home football game of the season against Cumberland University (Sept. 11)
“UT Martin football has been a top-tier program in the Ohio Valley Conference in the last nine years under head coach Jason Simpson,” said Julio Freire, Skyhawk director of athletics. “However, our ticket sales have ranked amongst the bottom of the league. We are asking for your help so we can pack Hardy Graham Stadium in 2014.”
The second initiative is a “Tickets for Children” campaign for both the Skyhawk football and basketball seasons. In this package, the buyer can attend the games that fit their schedule and for games that they cannot attend, they can send the tickets back to UT Martin Athletics and those tickets will go into the hands of West Tennessee underprivileged children.
“Not only can you support our university with the purchase of these tickets but we will get more people in the stands – either the buyer or the child you would sponsor for the game – cheering the Skyhawks to victory,” Freire said.
Season ticket packages for 2014 UT Martin football start as low as $45 for the public and $42 for UT Martin faculty and staff. The 2014-15 Skyhawk basketball season tickets are $125 for a chairback seat or $75 for UT Martin faculty and staff. For more information, contact Jenny Canary at (731) 881-7207 or email@example.com.
