TWO MORE UTM FOOTBALL GAMES ADDED AS POTENTIAL "WILD CARD" ESPN3 GAMES

MARTIN, Tenn. – The University of Tennessee at Martin football team has the opportunity for two more televised games as part of the 2014 Ohio Valley Conference “Game of the Week” television package with ESPN3 and WebStream Sports.
It was announced on Tuesday that the Skyhawks will open this season’s OVC “Game of the Week” series when they host Eastern Kentucky on Sept. 20 at noon. UT Martin road games at Jacksonville State (Oct. 4) and at Murray State (Nov. 1) are also up for consideration as part of the league’s two wild card slots.
The Skyhawks’ Week 6 visit to Jacksonville State will be the first since the 2011 season opener. Two of the last three games in the all-time series against the Gamecocks have been decided by two points or less.
UT Martin has posted an 8-1 record against Murray State since 2005. During those nine contests, the Skyhawks have averaged 49.3 points per contest.
Other potential games for the two wild card dates include Eastern Kentucky at Austin Peay (Oct. 4), Murray State at Tennessee Tech (Oct. 4), Tennessee State at Southeast Missouri (Oct. 4), Austin Peay at Jacksonville State (Nov. 1), Eastern Illinois at Tennessee Tech (Nov. 1) and Eastern Kentucky at Tennessee State (Nov. 1).
