HELP WHITE OUT THE ELAM CENTER FOR SATURDAY'S TV GAME AGAINST SIU EDWARDSVILLE

MARTIN, Tenn. – Fans are encouraged to wear white in an effort to “White Out” the Kathleen and Tom Elam Center when The University of Tennessee at Martin men’s basketball team hosts SIU Edwardsville for a noon tip-off on Saturday, Feb. 9. The game will be broadcasted live in the Tennessee/Kentucky markets on Fox Sports South and nationally on Fox Sports Midwest.

The Skyhawks will go for the season sweep over fellow Ohio Valley Conference West rival SIU Edwardsville, as they picked up a 65-62 road victory in Edwardsville on Jan. 26. Saturday’s game is part of a doubleheader, as the UT Martin women’s basketball game will tip off at 2:30 p.m. against SIU Edwardsville.

The Skyhawk cheerleaders will have a facepainting/sign station set up for children at the game, while UT Martin students will be eligible to draw for a free semester’s worth of books and a Spring Break trip.

The men’s game can be seen locally on Charter (Channel 33), DISH Network (Channel 420) and DirecTV (Channel 646). This game will be the third UT Martin men’s game to be broadcasted on the Fox Sports Family of Networks in 2012-13. The Skyhawks’ games against Cincinnati (Nov. 11) and Memphis (Nov. 29) were featured on FSN Ohio and FSN South, respectively.
