EQUESTRAIN TEAM DOMINATES SEWANEE IN HUNTERSEAT SHOW

MARTIN, Tenn. – Mykaela VanSelus and Kara Bergenty claimed Most Outstanding Performances (MOPs) in Hunterseat competition Saturday at the Ned McWherter Agricultural Center to lead The University of Tennessee at Martin to a convincing 8-2 victory over visiting Sewanee.
The Skyhawks claimed a 3-2 victory in Equitation as VanSelus grabbed the MOP honor and Erin Douglas, Hunter Ralston, Reid Rickett and Bergenty all scored points in the event.
Bergenty won the MOP in Equitation over Fences to lead the Skyhawks to a 3-2 win. Nora Wilson and Katie Miranda also scored points in the event for the Skyhawks.
The two teams did not compete in Western.
