MARTIN, Tenn. – The University of Tennessee at Martin soccer team makes its second straight NCAA Tournament appearance on Friday, Nov. 9 when it battles the University of Kentucky Wildcats at 6 p.m. CT.
The Skyhawks enter the match with a 13-5-3 mark and have compiled a program-record seven consecutive victories. After wrapping up the Ohio Valley Conference regular season title, UT Martin clinched the league’s automatic berth with a 2-0 win over Austin Peay in the OVC tournament championship last Sunday.
Head coach Phil McNamara and the Skyhawks arrived in Lexington, Ky. at approximately 11:45 p.m. ET on Wednesday. The team will conduct a practice at 11 a.m. local time today and is expected to take part in extracurricular activities later this afternoon before making final preparations for the match on Friday night.
