CORNERBACK NAMED COLLEGE SPORTS MADNESS OVC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF WEEK

MARTIN, Tenn. – UT Martin cornerback Thad Williams was named College Sports Madness Ohio Valley Defensive Player of the Week for his exceptional performance this past Saturday at Southeast Missouri State.
Williams recorded seven tackles and an interception with a 31 yard return in the 27-17 victory over Southeast Missouri State. Williams from Adel, Ga. had an interception and returned it 42 yards for a touchdown a week ago in the Murray State game which the Skyhawks won 66-59.
