TENNIS TEAM TO TAKE PART IN MEMPHIS INVITATIONAL THIS WEEKEND

MARTIN, Tenn. – The University of Tennessee at Martin tennis coach Dennis Taylor would like to invite all Skyhawk tennis fans in the Memphis area to come out and watch the Skyhawks this weekend (Oct. 12-14) in the Memphis Invitational. The tournament will take place at the Racquet Club of Memphis on 5111 Sanderlin Avenue.
UT Martin will join Memphis, Loyola Marymount and Drake in the tournament field. The Skyhawks open play on Friday, Oct. 12 at 12:30 p.m. against Loyola Marymount. UT Martin’s doubles teams will round out the first day with a matchup against Memphis at 3:30 p.m.
On Saturday, Oct. 13, UT Martin’s doubles begins the day with a 2:15 p.m. matchup against Memphis, followed by a 3:15 p.m. match against Drake.
The Skyhawk doubles team opens Sunday against Loyola Marymount at 11:15 a.m. UT Martin will then close out its participation in the tournament with a doubles contest against Drake (12:15 p.m.) and a singles match against Memphis (1:15 p.m.).
