October 4, 2012
MARTIN, Tenn. – John Luthi, the head rodeo coach at The University of Tennessee at Martin, said his team has a lot of people up tonight in the first round of the Ozark Region rodeo at Murray State University.
“We are healthy and all is well,” Luthi said. “We will see if we can draw some good stock and take advantage of our opportunities.”|
Luthi said his men’s team is getting more seasoned each time out. “We have some sophomores and juniors who are settling down. And our women’s team is young, but overall this is a good group. We just need to do the best we can.”
Two weeks ago, UT Martin tied Missouri Valley College for the points title in the men’s team standings. Both teams piled up 640 points.
