MARTIN, Tenn. –The University of Tennessee at Martin football game at Northern Illinois, in Dekalb, Ill., can be seen live online exclusively on ESPN3.com.

Jim Barber will handle the play-by-play as Bob Chmiel handles the color commentary.

Kickoff between the Skyhawks and the Huskies is set for 6:02 p.m.

 

Here are a couple of Did You Know Facts …

• The Skyhawks are ranked No. 1 in the nation for sacks allowed. They did not give up a quarterback sack in this past week’s 20-17 victory over Memphis.


• The Huskies lead the nation in quarterback sacks after collecting six in this past week’s 18-17 setback to Iowa at Soldier Field in Chicago.


• UT Martin kicker Cody Sandlin was named the adidas Ohio Valley Conference Specialist of the Week. Sandlin kicked a 43-yard field goal with four seconds remaining in the game to give the Skyhawks a 20-17 victory over Memphis in the Liberty Bowl.


• Northern Illinois defensive end Sean Progar was named the Mid-American Conference West Division Defensive Player of the Week. He had a sack and four tackles in the 18-17 loss to Iowa.


• Northern Illinois has won 15 straight games at Huskie Stadium, dating back to a 34-31 loss to Idaho on Sept. 26, 2009.


• UT Martin has never won its first two games of a season under the direction of seventh-year head coach Jason Simpson. In fact, the Skyhawks have only opened the football season with a 2-0 slate twice since 1990 (1994 featured wins at SIU and over Lane, while 1990 included wins at home against Lane and on the road at Austin Peay).
