BASEBALL COACHING STAFF SET TO HOLD HIGH SCHOOL SHOWCASE CAMP

MARTIN, Tenn. – The University of Tennessee at Martin head baseball coach Bubba Cates has announced his coaching staff will conduct a high school showcase camp at Skyhawk Field. The camp will take place on Saturday, Sept. 8 at 10 a.m.
Participants should be between the ninth and 12th grades, with check-in to begin at 9:30 a.m. at the Baseball Fieldhouse located down the third base side of Skyhawk Field. The cost for the camp is $65.
The all-day event will provide campers the opportunity to showcase their skills in front of Division-I college coaches, as well as receive teaching and feedback to improve their game. The camp instructors will also talk about college recruiting and how to promote the campers to college coaches.
The camp will feature a pro style workout, individualized evaluation and instruction on all facets of the game. The campers will take batting practice, participate in 60-yard dash drills, as well as take infield and outfield. The event will conclude with a live game.
