FOOTBALL COACH TO HOST KICKOFF PRESS CONFERENCE LUNCHEON

MARTIN, Tenn. –Jason Simpson, the head football coach at The University of Tennessee at Martin, will hold a Kickoff Press Conference Luncheon at 11:45 a.m., Monday, Aug. 6, in Skyhawk Cafeteria in the Boling University Center.

Simpson will discuss his new coaches for the 2012 season, the main objectives for fall camp, the upcoming season and the fall camp schedule.

The general public is invited to the press conference and lunch will be available in the cafeteria for $7.72 per person (deli, salad bar, pizza and hot line).

The Skyhawk football team is scheduled to arrive on campus Sunday, Aug. 5, and the first practice is set for 7:15 p.m., Monday, Aug. 6 at Hardy M. Graham Stadium on campus. Practice will be open to the public.

The Skyhawks open the 2012 season with a 6 p.m. kickoff at the Liberty Bowl against host Memphis on Sept. 1.
