MARTIN, Tenn. –Graham Sleigh is tuning up for his senior golf season at The University of Tennessee at Martin in his own ‘back yard.’ Sleigh fired a three-under par 68 recently at Swan Lake Golf course to defend his Clarksville City Amateur title, winning by two shots over first-round leader Greg Guinn.

Sleigh, who calls Clarksville home, shot under par rounds for all three days in the City Amateur (68-68-69 -- 205).

The second round of the Clarksville City Amateur Golf Championship was played at Cole Park Golf Course, while the first round of the tournament was played at Clarksville Country Club.

“This is a good accomplishment,” Sleigh said. “I am on there (City Am trophy) with some good golfers that won it back-to-back. I’m really happy to be on there with some good names.”

Tyler Guy, who will be Sleigh’s teammate in the fall at UT Martin, shot a 5-under 66 in the third round, to finish third in the City Am.
