CROSS COUNTRY TEAM ACHIEVES HIGH ACADEMIC MARKS

MARTIN, Tenn. – The University of Tennessee at Martin head cross country coach Gordon Sanders has announced that the team continued its strong performances in the classroom during this past semester.
Both the Skyhawk men's and women's team boasted a 3.6 Grade Point Average. All in all, a total of 17 student-athletes made the Dean’s List with five registering a perfect 4.0 GPA.
“What an excellent way to end the season,” Sanders said. “We had the same numbers on the Dean’s List and with 4.0’s in the fall, but now the GPA has gone up. Their effort has been fantastic.”
