Skyhawk Women's Basketball | David Hart - Assistant Coach

David Hart

David Hart is in his fourth season with the Skyhawk women’s basketball program, after serving three seasons as a volunteer assistant from 2010-13.

During the squad’s historical run to three NCAA Tournament appearances from 2010-13, Hart was an integral part of the staff, keeping statistics for the team as well as coordinating travel. He will continue those duties and will be more involved with recruiting in the upcoming season.

Hart has been involved in the women’s basketball game for nearly 15 years on the AAU, high school and collegiate levels. He led the Tennessee Wings to a pair of top-10 finishes nationally. Hart also served as a girls volunteer assistant basketball coach at Westview High School in Martin, teaming with Skyhawk head coach Kevin McMillan for two state tournament appearances in 2001 and 2003, where the Chargers placed runner-up. He also reached the state tournament as a member of the staff in 2006 and 2009.

Hart is a 1991 graduate of the University of Tennessee at Martin with a degree in accounting. He is also a licensed Certified Public Accountant.

Hart’s family includes his wife Dana, and two sons Nicholas and Kyle reside in Martin.
