Skyhawk Equestrian | Meghan Cunningham Corvin - Head Coach
Meghan Cunningham Corvin was named The University of Tennessee at Martin’s inaugural head equestrian coach in 2005.
Corvin helped transition equestrian at the university from a club to a varsity sport. In her time at UTM, the team has been seeded to participate in the National Collegiate Equestrian Association Championship (NCEA) every year since the team’s transition to varsity status with placings in the top 10. She has coached athletes All-American status as well as Academic status. Corvin is also active within NCEA serving on many committees including Championship and Selection.
Prior to joining the Skyhawks, Corvin was an assistant coach at Kansas State University. Under her leadership, she led the hunter seat squad to three regional and one zone championship with two national appearances with 11 individuals qualifying for national competitions.
A native of Pittsburgh, Pa, Corvin received her bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech and master’s degree from Kansas State, both in animal science. Her graduate work centered on the development and promotion of NCEA Equestrian.
Corvin is married to David Corvin and they have a daughter, Molly.
