BEFORE UTM: Attended Colorado State University in 2016-17 but did not play because of NCAA transfer rules…Was part of a Ram squad that went 24-12 and made an appearance in the National Invitation Tournament under head coach Larry Eustachy…Honed his craft by battling against Mountain West Conference leading scorer Gian Clavell (20.4 points per game) each day in practice…Spent two seasons at the University of Maine, where he averaged 13.6 points per contest in 44 games from 2014-16…Playing for head coach Bob Walsh, he poured in 600 points in his first two collegiate seasons at Maine…As a sophomore, he started in 20 of his 24 games before suffering a season-ending foot injury…Despite the setback, he still led the Black Bears with 337 points (14.7 per game) and 62 three-point field goals made, leading the America East Conference in three-pointers per game (2.7)…Also ranked second on the team in free throw percentage (.804, 37-of-46), assists (2.6 per game) and steals (1.2 per game) while adding 2.2 rebounds per outing…Scored in double-figures 19 times with six 20-plus point performances in 2015-16, equaling a career-best with 25 points (on 9-of-15 shooting) at Fordham on Dec. 19…Made at least three 3-pointers in 12 different games, including a 6-for-12 effort from beyond the three-point arc against Brown on Jan. 2…Best all-around game came on Jan. 13 against UMass Lowell, where he scored 18 points to go along with a career-high nine rebounds and five assists in 27 minutes of play…Added five assists in two other contests while compiling eight multi-steal games, swiping a career-high four steals against Army (Dec. 2) and in the aforementioned contest at Fordham (Dec. 19)…Earned AEC All-Rookie honors in 2014-15 after leading Maine in scoring with 12.5 points per game…Starting in nine of his 21 contests, he also paced the Black Bears in three-point field goal percentage (.389, 44-of-113) and ranked second on the team with 1.1 steals per game…Chipped in 2.6 assists and 2.5 rebounds per game while shooting 77.1 percent (27-of-35) from the charity stripe…Notched a dozen double-digit scoring games as a freshman, including five 20-plus point outings that each came during a nine-game span in conference play…Career-high scoring effort came at Hartford on Jan. 25 when he accumulated 25 points with a season-best five trifectas…That performance was one of 10 outings where he connected on at least three 3-pointers in a single game…Dished out a career-high six assists at NJIT on Nov. 17 while piecing together five multi-steal games…Spent a year prepping at Coastal Academy in Belmar, NJ after splitting his prep career at Our Savior New American (Centerreach, NY) and St. John the Baptist (West Islip, NY)…Averaged 23 points and six assists in high school and was known for showing out at high school showcase events…At the Fall High School Showcase held at the Hoop Group Headquarters in Neptune, NJ, he tossed in 54 points in two wins against some of the best high school teams and players in the nation, leading the event in scoring after the first day of the two-day event…Was identified as one of the showcase’s top 10 players.
