BEFORE UTM: Joined forces with early UT Martin signee Kelly Lean to help lead Parkland to the NJCAA Division-II national championship under head coach Cliff Hastings in 2015…In addition to the program’s second-ever national championship and first since 1999, she also helped the Cobras to a 57-0 record (winning 171 of 180 sets) and a season-long No. 1 national ranking…Piled up 217 kills (1.78 per set), a .291 hitting percentage and 98 blocks (0.80 per set) last season…Best performance of the season came on Oct. 30 against South Suburban when she dialed up a season-high 11 kills (against zero errors) in 18 swings…Compiled at least four blocks on 10 separate occasions, including a career-high seven blocks (to go along with 10 kills) against Cowley County on Nov. 19…Was also part of a Parkland squad that was the national runner-up in 2014, as the Cobras posted a 54-3 record during her freshman campaign…Delivered 84 kills and 72 blocks (0.85 per set)…Swatted at least four blocks in eight different matches, setting a season-high of six blocks against Waubonsee on Oct. 11…Prepped at Watseka High School, where she played for head coach Krista Pufahl…Helped lead the Warriors to three season of 30 or more victories, three regional championships and a pair of sectional titles…Brought home first team all-conference accolades during both her senior and junior seasons while also picking up conference Defensive Player of the Year accolades in three straight years (2011-13)…Found herself on the News-Gazette Nifty Fifty list after her senior and junior campaigns and was also tallied co-MVP honors in the 2013 Parkland College/News-Gazette Area All-Star Game.
