2014: Emerged as one of the premier hitters in the Ohio Valley Conference, as College Sports Madness honored him as a second team All-OVC performer…Ranked in the top-10 in the OVC in stolen bases (16, third), stolen base attempts (21, fifth), doubles (15, eighth) and slugging percentage (.542, 10th)…His 13 doubles in OVC play ranked first in the league…In addition to the above categories, also led the team in batting average (.341), games played (48), games started (46), runs scored (33), hits (61), home runs (seven), RBI’s (29) and times hit by pitch (five)…Had 21 multi-hit games and eight multi-RBI outings…Crushed left-handed pitching (.413 in 46 at-bats), thrived with the bases loaded (.714, 5-for-7) and also had a team-best 18 two-out RBI’s…Accounted for a 13-game hitting streak from April 6 through May 2...Launched six home runs in the span of five games during his season-long hitting streak…Had a pair of four RBI games in the span of nine days (against Eastern Kentucky on April 13, against Saint Louis on April 22)…Also made three appearances on the mound, sporting a perfect 0.00 ERA in four innings…Only allowed two hits while fanning four batters in three relief appearances...Named to the OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll and was one of only 12 baseball student-athletes to earn an OVC Medal of Honor for his perfect 4.0 Grade Point Average.

BEFORE UTM: Came to UT Martin from nearby Jackson State Community College, where he played alongside fellow Skyhawk teammate Alex Martin…Took part in 89 games in the outfield in two seasons, tallying 42 RBI’s and 36 runs scored while helping the Generals to a 63-38 record under head coach Tyson Malik…Notched a team-high three saves to go along with a 1-1 record and 6.00 ERA in 11 appearances in 2013…Was a standout player at Camden Central High School under head coach Rick Sturdivant…Helped lead the Lions to a 20-9 overall record in 2011, capturing the 11AA district title and a runner-up finish in Region 6AA…Earned the District 11AA MVP his senior season after hitting .494 with eight homers, 39 runs scored and 27 RBI’s for CCHS.
