2014: Gonzales quickly acclimated herself both to the Skyhawks and the Ohio Valley Conference en route to OVC Freshman of the Year honors along with All-OVC second team and All-Newcomer accolades...She played in 47 games this season, leading the Skyhawks with a .328 batting average. Along with her potent average, Gonzales tallied four doubles, a triple, one home run and 17 runs batted in...She tallied nine stolen bases on the season while tallying a .405 slugging percentage and reaching base at a .391 clipping...She posted a 2-for-4 outing against Southeast Missouri in which the outfielder tallied eight RBI...Her lone home run came against Tennessee State.
Before UT Martin: Attended El Dorado High School where she prepped for head coach Melissa Chavez ... Named Most Valuable Player along with “Big Stick” honors ... Led the Golden Hawks with .387 batting average while smashing two home runs and driving in 14 as a senior ... She hit a staggering .417 while smashing three home runs and driving in 14 as a junior while posting a commanding .683 slugging percentage and .470 on-base percentage ... Her prep career was highlighted with three RBIs during a victory over Diamond Ranch and a perfect 2-for-2 game against La Serna with a double and home run.
