2013: Made an immediate impact in the Skyhawk defensive backfield, starting in all 12 games…Tallied 40 tackles (27 solo) to go along with two tackles for loss, two forced fumbles, one interception and three pass breakups…Had five games of five or more tackles, including a season-high six stops (all solo) at Football Bowl Subdivision powerhouse Boise State on Sept. 7…Had a key fourth quarter interception in UT Martin’s 24-23 win over No. 7 Central Arkansas on Sept. 14…Forced fumbles against Jacksonville State (Oct. 5) and at Eastern Kentucky (Nov. 16).
BEFORE UTM: Joins the Skyhawks out of Pearl River Community College in Poplarville, Miss., where he played under head coach Tim Hatten…Tallied 31 tackles (18 solo) with an interception and eight pass breakups as a sophomore in 2012…Had season-highs of eight tackles, one interception and three pass breakups at East Central Community College on Oct. 18…Also had three pass breakups at East Mississippi Community College on Sept. 1 and a pair of pass breakups against Copiah-Lincoln Community College on Oct. 13…Recorded 36 tackles (15 solo) with an interception and fumble recovery as a freshman in 2011…Made a season-high nine tackles against East Mississippi Community College on Oct. 15…Prepped for head coach Shawn Rainey at the prestigious Hoover High School program, where he led the team to a 14-1 record, No. 1 ranking in the state of Alabama and the school’s seventh all-time state championship in 2009…Was named MVP of the 2009 state championship game when he scored the go-ahead touchdown off one of his two fumble recoveries, had an interception and nine tackles in a 28-23 win over Prattville.
