2013: Logged three appearances out of the bullpen before suffering a season-ending injury led to a redshirt season…Struck out four batters over a span of 2.2 innings, allowing just one extra-base hit…Made appearances against Southern Illinois (Feb. 19), at Arkansas State (March 5) and against Memphis (March 19)… Named to the OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll and was one of only 10 baseball student-athletes to earn an OVC Medal of Honor for his perfect 4.0 Grade Point Average.

BEFORE UTM: Comes to UT Martin from Highland Community College in Highland, Kan., who competes in the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (the same conference that produced fellow Skyhawk signee John Houston)...Under longtime head coach Rick Eberly, the Scotties went 28-30 in 2012 but secured a spot in the NJCAA Region VI playoffs...Appeared in six games, going 1-0 with a 5.25 ERA...Struck out eight batters over 12 innings...Was a NJCAA Academic All-American and a KJCCC academic all-conference selection...Attended Indian Hills Community College in Centerville, Iowa in 2011, where the Falcons went 29-27 with an 11-5 record in the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference...Prepped at Rockhurst High School in Kansas City, Mo., where he played for head coach Jim DeGraw...Won the Nolan Ryan team award in 2009 and 2010 and was a USA NTIS invitee in 2010...Also was an accomplished swimmer at RHS, leading the Hawklets to four consecutive championships (2007-10) while setting the state record in the 200 free relay.
