2013: Was team’s most consistent pitcher all season long, chalking up a team-high 19 appearances with a pair of starts (at Vanderbilt on April 9, at Lipscomb on May 7)…Sported a 3-4 record with a 5.54 ERA in 37.1 innings…Had a 2.93 ERA through his first 14 appearances, conceding two or fewer earned runs in 16 appearances (including nine with zero earned runs)…Earned a victory in back-to-back appearances (Feb. 23 against IPFW and March 3 against North Dakota State)…Went two-plus innings in nine appearances, including a career-long four innings on May 7 at Lipscomb…Did not allow an extra-base hit in 11 appearances (only allowing two home runs all season)…Held right-handed batters to a .229 batting average (22-for-96) and was dominant with the bases empty (.180 batting average against, 11-for-61)…Named to the OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

BEFORE UTM: Joins the Skyhawks out of Broward College in Davie, Fla., where he played for head coach Robert Deutshman…Led the Seahawks to a 26-16 record and the 2011 Southern Conference championship as a freshman, posting a 1-2 record with a microscopic 0.45 ERA in 12 appearances…Allowed only 17 hits while fanning 19 against only eight walks in 20 innings pitched…As a sophomore in 2012, BC went 25-25 while Ross compiled a 3-1 record with a 6.49 ERA…Threw 26.1 innings with a 17:13 strikeout-to-walk ratio in 15 appearances…Led the Pompano Beach Clippers to a South Florida Collegiate Baseball League title in the summer of 2012, earning the league’s Pitcher of the Year accolade after going 5-1 with an 0.68 ERA, striking out 31 batters and allowing only 14 hits in 26.1 innings for head coach Neil Andreoli…Prepped at West Broward High School, where he was a four-year pitcher for head coach Mike Moss…Was an honorable mention all-county selection for the Bobcats as a junior, the same year he took home the team’s Outstanding Pitcher award…As a sophomore, he was named the MVP of the Winter Bash championship game.
