BEFORE UTM: Joins the Skyhawks out of the highly successful Rockledge High School program in Rockledge, Fla....Under head coach Greg Claybourne, the Raiders posted a 97-29 record in Piersall’s four seasons, reaching the 20-win plateau in all four seasons…RHS captured back-to-back district championships in 2011 and 2012, reaching the regional finals in 2011…As a senior, Piersall was a 2012 Rawlings/Perfect Game honorable mention all-region selection after RHS went 26-7 with a 12-1 league record, advancing to the 5A District 9 playoffs…Was named the team’s Defensive MVP in 2011 and the squad’s Rookie of the Year in 2009.

PERSONAL: Born on May 26, 1993…Son of Jeff and Judy Piersall…Has two older siblings, Kali and Ellie…Uncle Glen Piersall played baseball for four years at Tampa, while grandfather Buddy Felder played football at Mississippi State for four years…Majoring in health and human performance.
