2014: Made an appearance in eight games, including one start (against Lipscomb on April 9)…Fanned 10 batters over 12.2 innings of work…Went at least one inning in all but one appearance an tossed more than one inning in five appearances…Set season-highs in innings pitched (three) and strikeouts (four) in his final game of the season at Memphis (May 13)…Struck out the side in a perfect inning of relief at Austin Peay on May 11.

2013: Made eight appearances, including one start (at Central Arkansas on April 23)...Logged multi-innings in exactly half of his appearances, including a career-high four innings in relief against Central Arkansas on May 14…Racked up two or more strikeouts in four appearances, including a career-best four punchouts against Central Arkansas on May 14…Pieced together three consecutive outings with zero earned runs from March 16-April 2 out of the bullpen (a span of 5.1 innings).

BEFORE UTM: Played for head coach Mike Moss at Chaminade-Madonna Preparatory School in Hollywood, Fla.…As a senior, Flores went 4-5 with a 2.28 ERA in 11 appearances…Struck out 56 batters while allowing 54 hits in 58.1 innings…Tossed a one-hitter while whiffing six batters in six innings while helping the Lions to the 4Him Classic championship over Calvary Christian…Was an honorable mention all-county selection by the Miami Herald newspaper…As a junior in 2011, posted a 7-6 record with a 2.23 ERA in 74 innings, fanning 71 batters against only 22 walks against a powerhouse district in South Florida that featured three of the nation’s top-25 squads…Tossed eight complete games in 13 starts and earned all-district first team accolades…Was also named a first teamer by 954 Broward baseball magazine and was an honorable mention selection to the All-South Florida team…Pitched for the Miami Snappers in the summer of 2011, going 6-1 with a pair of saves, sporting a 1.95 ERA in 38 innings…Was invited to take part in the inaugural Power Showcase All-World Baseball Classic on Dec. 30, 2011 at Chase Field (home of the Arizona Diamondbacks) in Phoenix, Ariz., representing the U.S. in a game that featured the most prolific 40 amateur prospects in the world (20 born in the U.S. and 20 international).
