BEFORE UTM: Coming off a successful senior campaign at Ferguson Senior High School in Miami, Fla….The Falcons tallied a 13-11 record under head coach Jose Novas in 2012…Attended Braddock High School as a junior, where he started every game and finished the season with a .310 batting average…Was a standout defensive catcher, committing only one error throughout the duration of his junior season…As a sophomore, he recorded a .369 batting average and nine triples while leading Coral Park High School to a postseason berth, starting in every game.
