2012-13: Saw action in 29 games with 18 starts, including 17 of the first 19 games of the season…Was one of the team’s best all-around players, averaging 8.4 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.3 steals per game…Cracked double-figures in the scoring column 10 different times, including a pair of 20-point outings…Set career-highs in points (21) and rebounds (nine) while adding six assists against Arkansas State on Nov. 16…Also added 20 points in 26 minutes off the bench at Austin Peay on March 2…Made the game-winning shot (a contested reverse layup) with two seconds left against Kennesaw State on Dec. 1…Snared five or more rebounds on 13 different occasions…Tallied four or more assists in six games, including a career-high eight assists against Fontbonne on Nov. 14…Had a dozen multi-steal games, swiping a career-best four steals in 23 minutes against Lyon College on Nov. 20.

BEFORE UTM: Was a member of back-to-back Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges conference championships in his two seasons at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, located in Perkinston, Miss…Playing for head coach Wendell Weathers, he led the Bulldogs to a 23-5 record and a Region 23 Tournament semifinals appearance as a sophomore…Was an all-region, all-state and All-MACJC second teamer last season and was voted as the team’s MVP after he averaged 7.9 points, 6.9 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.8 steals per game…As a freshman, Mississippi Gulf Coast posted a 21-6 record and Childs was named the team’s Defensive Player of the Year, averaging 9.0 points, 5.0 rebounds. 2.1 assists and 1.8 steals per game…Prepped at Maranatha Christian Academy, where he played for head coach James Cole…In his senior campaign, the Bulldogs went 24-7 while Childs averaged 16.1 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.6 steals per game…Greenwood boasted another 20-win season (20-11) when Childs was a junior, as he stuffed the statsheet to the tune of 9.4 points, 5.4 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 2.2 steals per game.
