2014: Played in all 12 games, accumulating 11 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, 0.5 sacks and three quarterback hurries…Wrapped up multiple tackles in four games, including a season-best three stops in the win over Tennessee Tech on Oct. 9…Tallied a sack in the victory at Tennessee State on Oct. 18.
2013: Showed enormous potential, seeing playing time in 11 games…Accumulated 18 tackles (nine solo), four tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks and a quarterback hurry…Set career-highs in tackles (four) and tackles for loss (1.5) against Jacksonville State on Oct. 5…Had a sack in back-to-back wins over No. 7 Central Arkansas (Sept. 14) and Southeast Missouri (Sept. 28)…Had three tackles (all solo) in the season-opening win at Chattanooga and also had three wins to go along with a quarterback hurry in the win over Murray State on Nov. 2.
BEFORE UTM: Attended Trinity High School, where he helped Trinity win three Class 6A state championships (2008, 2010-11)…Helped the Shamrocks claim the 2011 national high school championship…Only lost one game in his final two years, posting an impressive 28-1 record…Also wrestled at THS, claiming a 2009 state championship.
