Finished sixth in the state as a junior in the shot-put.

Personal: Son of Darrin and Stacie Brown … Uncle, Bryant Dickerson, graduated from Eastern Kentucky in 1992; and played for the NFL's Jacksonville Jaguars and Cincinnati Bengals (1994-97).
