2013: Developed into one of the team’s best pitchers as the season progressed, ending the year with 14 appearances (12 starts)…Led the team with four victories and 62.2 innings pitched while ranking ninth in the OVC in strikeouts per nine innings (7.61)…Had a 6.03 ERA while racking up 53 strikeouts…Eclipsed five innings in eight of his starts, including a career-long eight innings at SIU Edwardsville on May 5…Earned a victory in two of his first three appearances (Feb. 24 against IPFW, March 4 against Mid-Continent)…One of his best games came on April 14 at Eastern Kentucky, notching the win after tossing six shutout innings with zero extra-base hits allowed…Struck out at least three batters in 11 different outings, including a career-high eight strikeouts against SIU Edwardsville on May 5…Limited the opposition to a .206 batting average (14-for-68) with two outs in the inning…Named to the OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
2012: Made 14 appearances, including a start at No. 14 Ole Miss on March 6...Limited the opposition to a paltry .136 batting average (3-for-22) with two outs in the inning...Tallied five shutout appearances, including three straight in early April against Vanderbilt, Murray State and Lipscomb...Also recorded scoreless outings against Belmont (April 24) and Eastern Illinois (May 12)...Tossed a career-high three innings in back-to-back appearances against Belmont (no hits, no walks) on April 24 and Southeast Missouri (one run, two strikeouts) on April 28...Also tallied a pair of strikeouts at Georgia Southern (Feb. 18), at Murray State (April 7) and against Jacksonville State (April 15)...Named to the OVC Commissioner's Honor Roll.
