2011-2012: Competed in the horsemanship earning 2 wins against DSU and Miami of Ohio. Tied her ride against NMSU earning MVP honors. In reining, compiled a record of 6-2 with wins against DSU, UGA, NMSU, TCU, Fresno State and Miami of Ohio in which she earned MVP honors. Competed at the NCEA Championships for the Skyhawks in reining.

Before UT Martin-- Region 4 experience as a showmanship champion... She is an NSBA champion in Trail and Western riding... A 2006 Reserve champion in Trail... A 2008 Trail champion... A 2006 reserve world champion in Trail...This past year Gorsuch was third in Western riding and among the final 20 in Horsemanship in the world show.
