COACH CARPENTER ON SLEIGH: “Graham is expected to be one of the top players for the 2012 season, and is expected to improve on a very good junior year. He is the hardest working practice players on the team. He will selected as a team captain for the 2012-2013 season.

2011-2012 SEASON: Sleigh won the 2011 Clarskville City Championship. He also competed and made the cut in the 2011 State Amateur. He successfully defend his city championship title in 2012. He tied for first place in the Arkansas Red Wolves spring collegiate tournament with a low round of 66. He tied for ninth in the OVC Championship Tournament. and was selected to the all-tournament team.

2010-2011 SEASON: Sleigh competed in 18 rounds. His stroke average was 77.17. He shot an even-par 72 to finish fourth in a tournament, his best finish of the season. He was selected to the Ohio Valley Conference all-tournament team.

2009-2010 SEASON: Sleigh played in 22 rounds with a stroke average of 76; He shot a season low 62, which was the lowest Division I score at the time.

AS A PREP: Sleigh prepped at Montgomery Central High School in Clarksville, Tenn., where he helped lead his team to the 2006-07 district title, while also racking up a number of individual medalist accolades. Sleigh won the 2005 district title, then finished runner-up in the 2006 district and regional championships to qualify for the Tennessee State Golf Championships, where he placed 11th. Sleigh also carded a third place finish in the 2007 district tournament.

In addition to Sleigh’s success in high school competition, he also competed in four Tennessee Junior State Amateurs and qualified for a pair of Vince Gill Tour Tournament of Champions Tournaments. Sleigh captured medalist honors at the first-ever Dickson Junior Invitational and placed fourth in the 2009 Craig Rudolph Memorial Tournament in Clarksville, Tenn., which is held in honor of the late son of the former PGA Tour professional and six-time Tennessee Amateur champion Mason Rudolph.

PERSONAL: Sleigh is the son of William Ron and Beth Sleigh and has one older sister. Sleigh was born Aug. 30, 1990 and is majoring in agricultural science, with aspirations of one day working in the agriculture industry.
