2012: Mostly saw time at third base, playing in 29 games with 15 starts…Batted .368 (7-for-19) with runners in scoring position…Tallied three multi-hit games, all of which came in the season’s first four games (two at Georgia Southern on Feb. 17-18 and a career-best three-hit performance against Southern Illinois on Feb. 21)…Smashed his first career home run on Feb. 29 against Evansville, driving in a season-high two runs….Also collected RBI’s against Southern Illinois (Feb. 21), Arkansas-Little Rock (March 2) and Lipscomb (March 27 and April 11)…Scored runs against Southern Illinois on Feb. 21, Evansville on Feb. 29 and Indiana State on March 10…Tied a career-high with two walks against Christian Brothers on March 20.
2011: Earned a start in 20 games, seeing action in 28 games overall…Began the season on a tear, hitting .381 (8-for-21, with four multi-hit games) in the first six games before suffering a hand injury on Feb. 27…Smoked two doubles against South Alabama on Feb. 20…Had nine multi-hit games, including a career-best three hits against Eastern Kentucky on April 23…Collected four RBI on April 10 against SIU Edwardsville…Ended the season with a .309 batting average, .374 on-base percentage and .383 slugging percentage in 92 plate appearances, improving those numbers to .357/.455/.429 in Ohio Valley Conference play.
2010: Made two starts in 12 games and also made two appearances on the mound...Went 1-for-2 with two walks and scoring two runs while serving as the designated hitter against Houston Baptist on Feb. 26...Drove in a run and drew a walk in the second game of the doubleheader on Feb. 20 against IPFW...Earned starts at third base at Indiana State (March 6) and against King College (March 13)...Pitched against Southern Illinois on March 23 and in the first game of the Murray State doubleheader on April 2.
BEFORE UTM: Graduated from Liberty Technology Magnet High School where he played baseball for head coaches Lanier English and Danny Giles...Played three years of baseball for UT Martin baseball alumnus Lanier English...Named to all-district team four consecutive years...Earned numerous all-tournament team honors...Named 2009 district tournament MVP...Helped the Crusaders win the 2008 district championship.
