2008 SEASON:
Clements appeared in 31 matches and 93 sets as a freshman. She tallied 32 kills on 186 attempts for the year, averaging 0.34 kills per set. She registered a season-high seven kills against Bucknell at the Loyola Invitational. Clements also recorded three blocks on the year and had 193 digs from her back row position. Six times she tallied 10 or more digs, with a season-best 21 vs. Southeast Missouri at home Oct. 18.

AS A PREP:
Clements prepped at Oak Mountain High School in Birmingham, Ala. where she was a two-sport athlete playing both volleyball and golf. As a sophomore she helped her team advanced to the Elite Eight of the Alabama State Championship Tournament. She was twice named to the all-state and all-metro teams. During her senior season in 2007, Clements led the Oak Mountain Eagles in almost every major offensive statistical category and was named to the All-Metro team in Birmingham. She was also named Oak Mountain's Best Offensive Player in back-to-back seasons as a junior and senior.

CLUB EXPERIENCE:
Clements club volleyball resume includes three years with the Alabama Juniors as an outside hitter; three years with the Magic City Club Team as an outside hitter and one season with Team Sting.

PERSONAL:
Clements is the daughter of Barry and Clare Clements and has two siblings, Teresa and Robby. Clements was born June 19, 1990, and is majoring in health and human performance, with aspirations of one day becoming a teacher and coach. Both of Clement's parents were college athletes, with her father Barry playing baseball at Auburn in 1981-82 and her mother Clare competing on the gymnastics team at Jefferson State Junior College. Clement's sister Teresa was also a member of the volleyball team at the University of West Alabama.
